Privacy Policy
Last updated August 19, 2026
This policy explains what information NORYVE handles when you browse the store, create an account or place an order.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information NORYVE handles, why, and what choices you have. It applies to the NORYVE website and store.
2. Who is responsible
NORYVE is operated by Nathanael Josephson, a sole proprietor registered in Quebec, Canada, under Québec Enterprise Number (NEQ) 2282447509. Nathanael Josephson is responsible for the information described here, and can be reached at 605-1114 rue Saint-Antoine O, Montréal, QC H3C 0J3, Canada, or by email at contact@noryve.net.
3. Information you give us
Depending on how you use the site, this can include:
- Your email address, used to create an account and to contact you about an order.
- An optional first name, if you provide one.
- Billing details entered at checkout, such as name, address, city, region and postal code.
- The content of messages you send to support.
4. Information stored in your browser
Your cart and your sign-in state are stored locally in your own browser so the site works between page loads. This information stays on your device and is not a tracking profile.
5. Passwords
Passwords are never stored in your browser's local storage and are never included in the session data the site keeps about you.
6. Payment information
NORYVE does not store payment card numbers, security codes or bank details. No payment provider is connected in this version of the store. If a payment provider is added, card details would be handled directly by that provider under its own privacy terms.
7. Why we use your information
Personal information is used to:
- Create and maintain your account and Digital Library.
- Process, deliver and keep a record of your orders.
- Send order confirmations and delivery notifications.
- Respond to support requests, including refund reviews.
- Protect the store against fraud and misuse.
8. Legal bases
Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on performing our contract with you (orders, delivery, support), our legitimate interest in keeping the store secure, and compliance with legal obligations such as record keeping.
9. Analytics and advertising
This site does not run advertising trackers, and no third-party analytics or marketing profiling is in place. If that changes, this policy will be updated first and any consent required by law will be requested.
10. Sharing your information
We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared with service providers who help operate the store — for example hosting, and in future a payment provider — and only to the extent needed for them to perform that role. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
11. International transfers
Service providers may process information outside your country. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection.
12. Retention
Account and order information is kept for as long as your account exists and for as long afterwards as is needed for legal, accounting and fraud-prevention purposes. Support messages are kept only as long as they remain useful for the request.
13. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and keep fulfillment details private.
14. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
To exercise a right, contact contact@noryve.net from the address associated with your account.
15. Children
The store is not directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
16. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated; the date at the top of the page shows the most recent revision.
Privacy questions can be sent to contact@noryve.net.
